Our design for the Gaziantep Memorial commemorates the losses suffered by civilians during the conflicts that arose between the Armenian and Turkish populations of the city following the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire. Our team was invited by the Mersin University Department of Architecture to enter the competition, who co-authored the brief with the city of Gaziantep.
